In this entry level position, you’ll work with a strong customer service focus to help install and administer provider contracts within various UnitedHealth Group systems.

This position is full - time (40 hours / week). Employees are required to work our normal business hours of 5:00 AM - 10:00 PM CST (Central Standard Time zone).

We offer 5 weeks of training. Training will be conducted virtually from your home.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist with setting up plan structure and billing, eligibility collection and database loading for Facility Plans
• Accurately load facility contract amendments
• Audit contract loads for adherence to quality measurers and reporting standards
• Escalate more complex problems to supervisor level
• Maintain accurate data loading into multiple platforms (sometimes simultaneously)

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
• 1+ years of managed care OR medical insurance experience (can include credentialing facilities, facility plan relations, medical billing, facility plan administration)
• Proficiency with using Microsoft Word (create, edit, format, manipulate documents) and Microsoft Excel (create, edit, format, manipulate spreadsheets)
• Ability to work any 8.5-hour shift between the hours of 5:00 AM - 10:00 PM CST (Central Standard Time zone)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate's Degree (or higher)
• Previous facility data entry experience
• Experience in CSP Facets
• Experience in OHBS Facets
• Experience in NDB
• Experience in Cosmos

Telecommuting Requirements:

• Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
• Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
• Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service

• Ability to read and interpret written and / or verbal directions, then apply to loading processes
• Ability to learn as you move thru processes allowing you to overcome mistakes in real time
